Booster Training Recap and School Council Needs

• Do you shop at Office Max?  They have a community give back program, which provides credit for PVHS to purchase items there.  At the register, just share out the PV Code:  70004570
• Do you Shop at Fry's/Kroeger? You can select PVHS PTO as your nonprofit organization to give back to.  This allows you to shop and support PVHS at the same time! 
• PTO Toiletry, Underwear & Sock Donation Drive: The Counseling Department is looking for donations of small toiletry items. (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body soap, deodorant, Toothpaste, toothbrushes etc.) and for under garments (new underwear, boxers, and socks - for both males and females in all sizes). Please drop off donations in the front office.

It is that time of year for the Paradise Valley High School PTO Trojan Treasures Auction!  The online silent auction will be held Oct 29th - Nov 6th. We are in need of some items for the Silent Auction to help us raise funds for the PTO. A sign up genius has been created to offer suggestions for needed items.

PV High School is looking for 2 more parents to join the PVHS School Council.

Commitment: 1 hour per month
When: Our first meeting is Thursday, September 19 from 3-4pm.  However, most meetings will be from 2:30-3:30pm on the third Thursday of the month.

Our school council is comprised of administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members. They work together to guide and support all stakeholders of our school in the following areas:

• Review and approve all appropriate expenditures of non-designated Arizona Tax Credit donations.
• Review recommendations for changes/revision of school programs, activities, procedures, and policies.
• Review items requested by the District Office and/or the PVSchools Governing Board.
• Monitor the progress of the PVHS Strategic Plan.
• Foster improved communication among all stakeholders in the PVHS community.
